Last Saturday we met some friends down at a great restaurant called HobNob Kitchen and Bar on 5th Avenue in Naples.
First of all….LOVE the name! How original is that! Secondly, check out the decor. It’s right up my alley. I love the hanging lights they have in the bar area.
Here’s a few more of the interior. Really Fantastic looking..Right?!
Lots of interesting dishes to choose from.
My hubby ordered this great looking martini and I opted for the house wine…a Hob Nob merlot. Both great.
For dinner I ordered the Sea Bass with coconut pesto, butternut squash and roasted potatoes on the side. The coconut pesto was Delish! I’m going to have to try to recreate that at home.
My hubby and one of our friends ordered the Short Ribs. I snuck a bite and it was very good..very tender. It was served with lemon risotto, escarole and pine nut gremolata.
Our friend had one of their specials that night and it was a Coconut Shrimp dish. It also won rave reviews.
We finished up with dessert. Chocolate Ice Cream…
Red Velvet Cake…
and I had the HobNob salted caramel tootsie rolls. They arrived in this cute little box. Nice presentation!
Great sweet, salty flavor! I saved a few for home.
We really enjoyed HobNob Kitchen and Bar! Nice and casual, great atmosphere and delish food!
